Overview
I am a student of modern Latin America and its global connections. My research focuses on the social, cultural and economic importance of commodities and their relationship to nationhood and globalization. I am also interested in historical internationalism(s), spatial theory and collective identities.
Prior to Cornell, I was a research fellow at the University of Bremen.
